Become a KATCH Mentor!
Childhood is a unique and valuable stage in developing into a grown adult. It is the responsibility of KATCH mentors to provide mentoring, guidance, facilitating and education in settings that are safe, healthy, nurturing and responsive for each child. KATCH is committed to supporting children’s development and learning; respecting individual differences; and helping children to learn to live, play and work cooperatively within the community. We are also committed to promoting children’s self-awareness, competence, self-worth, resiliency and physical well- being.
KATCH is looking for mentors to facilitate growth for children in all the performing, visual and literary arts. Potential mentors will be interviewed by two or more board members prior to approval. All potential mentors under 18 will be paired with an adult mentor or facilitator with FBI and childline clearances, they will not need clearances themselves, however they will need to complete an essay and successful interview. The first step is to submit the form below.
